In about two weeks, I’ll be leaving for a trip to Minneapolis for my cousin’s wedding, which I’m in! I’m so excited; it’s the first time I’ve been in a bridal party, it will be the first time I have more than one day off in a row since Christmas, and I’ll get to hang out with a bunch of my awesome family! This will be my third trip to Minneapolis in the past 12 months, because my other cousin was married in June, and Kiyo and I stopped in MN on our drive to Seattle.
Anyways, back in June, my mom picked me up from the airport and I was hangry. For those of you who don’t know, “hangry” means “to become so hungry that you are also angry.” So, I asked my mom if we could stop for some food ASAP, but she said we would be eating a lot of food later, so I should wait. Since I was already hangry, this made me even more angry, and I insisted we stop at the first place I could find on Yelp, which happened to be a little Mexican sandwich place in a very strange flea market/strip mall. I can’t remember what it was called or where it was, but my egg-cheese-chorizo-avocado-tomato sandwich was totally delicious. And I definitely still had room for (a lot) more food later. Sorry mom, but you don’t deny a hangry person!
